Uncommon vintage signature in red fountain pen on a 4x6-inch tan autograph album page, dating to the 1950s and decoratively trimmed by the original collector. In good condition, with scattered handling dings. Onscreen with RKO from 1945 onward, the gorgeous Spanish-born starlet began her career as Isabelita, cast as exotic jungle sirens and cantina girls in a string of forgettable B-pictures. Hopes of a more serious film career were stirred with her starring role opposite stunt man Fred Coby in PRC's Zorro knockoff Don Ricardo Returns (1946), but it proved such a failure with audiences that she felt obliged to change her name to Lita Baron, to make future work possible. Baron is perhaps best remembered for her long marriage to action lead Rory Calhoun, with whom she appeared in Red Sundown (1956) shortly before her retirement from Hollywood.
