Uncommon inscribed fountain pen signature on a 3 x 5.5-inch tan autograph album page, acquired in-person in the 1950s.  The familiar-faced English character actor of the 1930s through 1980s made a number of contributions to the horror, sci-fi and fantasy genres, playing Colonel Matson in The Secret of Dr. Mabuse (1964), Dr. Ralph Halvorsen in Stanley Kubrick's 2001:  A Space Odyssey (1968), a chatty doorknocker in Labyrinth (1987), and the President of the United States in Superman IV (1987).
