Highly rare vintage black felt-tip pen signature on a 3x5-inch off-white card, from the fabled John Virzi collection. In good condition and nice for matting with a favorite photograph. Dominican-born character actor Rafael Campos made something of a specialty of playing troubled Hispanic youths in films like The Blackboard Jungle (1955), Trial (1955) and Dino (1957). His gift for comedy was seldom touched upon, save for his role as a college-bound busboy in 1957's This Could Be the Night. After a spate of stage appearances, he returned to the screen to portray Ramon Diaz, Jr. on T.V.'s "Rhoda" (1977-1978) and Nacho on "Centennial" (1978-1979). He died of cancer at the age of 49 and his autograph is extremely elusive in any format.
