Terrific 10x8-inch color still portrait from The Time Machine (1960), boldly signed in black felt-tip marker in the 1990s. In good condition and nifty for display. Suave, handsome Australian-born leading man Rod Taylor is probably best remembered for his starring role in George Pal's sci-fi and fantasy classic The Time Machine (1960), and was elsewhere noteworthy in The Catered Affair (1956) with Bette Davis, the "The Twilight Zone" episode entitled "And When the Sky Was Open" (1959), the Walt Disney animated favorite 101 Dalmations (1961), John Ford's Sunday in New York (1963), Alfred Hitchcock's horror gem The Birds (1963), 36 Hours (1965), The Train Robbers (1973) with John Wayne, and, much later in life, Quentin Tarantino's Inglorious Basterds (2009).
