Bold vintage black fountain pen signature on a 4x6-inch pale yellow autograph album page, acquired in-person in the 1930s. In good condition and nice for matting with a favorite photograph. Smooth, British-born stage, and silent and early talkie screen star Brian Aherne earned an Oscar nod for his portrayal of Emperor Maximillian in Juarez in 1939. He was also memorable in Madame Guillotine (1931), The Song of Songs (1933), The Conzstant Nymph (1933), The Fountain (1934), Sylvia Scarlett (1935), The Great Garrick (1937), The Man Who Lost Himself (1941), Smilin' Through (1941), Skylark (1941), My Sister Eileen (1942), A Night to Remember (1942), I Confess (1953), Titanic (1953), and Prince Valiant (1954), and in a classic episode of T.V.'s "The Twilight Zone" entitled "The Trouble with Templeton" (1960).
