Quite scarce vintage black fountain pen signature on an irregular light brown clip, measuring about 2 x 3.5 inches, acquired in-person by inveterate autograph hounds Frances and Violet Zane in the 1950s and later affixed to a 3x5-inch light pink card by another collector. Note that the image of the star shown here alongside the scan of the signature is not included. Beautiful model, dancer and actress Mari Aldon was dragged into pictures by her husband, director Tay Garnett, appearing in films like Distant Drums (1951), The Barefoot Contessa (1954) and Summer Vacation (1955) before settling into television work, and then vanishing from the screen.
