Vintage 3.25 x 5.35-inch matte-finish black and white portrait, signed in black fountain pen in the 1930s. In fine condition, with two extremely faint background bends and the borders likely having been very neatly trimmed. Stately Elizabeth Allan starred in Men in White (1935), David Copperfield (1935) and A Tale of Two Cities (1935). She is especially remembered by horror, sci-fi and fantasy fans as Irena in Tod Browning's Mark of the Vampire (1935), opposite Bela Lugosi, and Barbara Rankin in Robert Day's The Haunted Strangler (1958), with Boris Karloff.
