Hunky Kirk Alyn portrayed the Man of Steel in the serials The Adventures of Superman (1948) and Atom Man Vs. Superman (1950), and, in 1978, had a cameo in the film starring Christopher Reeve. He also had a small role, as a gun-wielding rioter, in When Worlds Collide in 1951.
