Ultra-rare vintage 8x10-inch black and white portrait with boxer Chuck Wepner, boldly signed in-person by Andre in red felt-tip pen and Wepner in black felt-tip marker. In very good condition. These were signed for Andre's fight promoter, Louis, whose collection of signed items has recently been broken up on the autograph market. To our knowledge, this was the only 8x10 he possessed. Hulking wrestler and occasional actor Andre "The Giant" Roussimoff made a number of forays into film, most notably The Princess Bride in 1987. A victim of acromegaly, which accounted for his 7'4" stature, he died of heart failure at the age of 46, after having signed very little for fans throughout his career. This is one of a small handful of examples we have ever offered.
