Extremely scarce vintage black fountain pen signature on an unevenly-trimmed 4x6-inch grey autograph album page, acquired in-person in the 1930s. In good condition, with a minor diagonal crease to the lower right-hand corner and three punch-holes to the left edge. Lovely WAMPAS Baby Star Lona Andre-- famed for her adorable dimples-- played leads in minor films and supporting roles in major films for most of her career before retiring to enter the business world. In 1932, she was the runner-up in a fabled contest to find just the right actress to portray the enigmatic Panther Woman in Island of Lost Souls, losing out to Kathleen Burke.
