Scarce vintage fountain pen signature on a 3x5-inch tan card, acquired in-person in the 1930s and decorated with a small magazine image. In good condition, with some gentle brushing to the ink in spots. Best remembered for his portrayal of disastrously arrogant director Carl Denham in King Kong (1933) and Son of Kong (1933), ever-electrified character actor Robert Armstrong is also remembered by horror, sci-fi and fantasy fans for his portrayals of Martin in the thriller The Most Dangerous Game (1932), Scoop McClure in The Mad Ghoul (1943) and Max O’Hara in Mighty Joe Young (1949).
