Highly rare vintage inscribed black fountain pen signature on a 3x5-inch tan card, acquired in-person by an inveterate autograph hound in February of 1965, as noted on the verso by the original collector, and decorated with a small Players Directory image. In good condition, with one negligible fleck of glue to the upper right-hand area, well away from the writing. Rugged, virile British actor Stanley Baker was a real man's man, never once heard to murmur, "Oh, my dearest darling!" onscreen. He died of lung cancer at age 49, shortly after being knighted for his work in film over more than three decades.
