Classic Entertainment Autographs

Cat. #000472313: ALFONSO BEDOYA

Sorry, this item has already been sold.

IMPOSSIBLE to find-- actually, one of about 10 examples known to exist-- bold vintage blue ballpoint pen signature as an endorsement on the verso of a 1957 check from Anthony-World Wide Productions. In good condition, with some bank cancellation marks and hole punches, and light creasing in spots where the actor appears to have folded the check to place it in a wallet! Suitable for matting with a favorite photograph. Note that the image of the star shown here alongside the scan of the autographed piece is not included. Prolific, gifted Mexican character actor Alfonso Bedoya-- who was typically cast as filthy, nasty crooks and desperadoes-- gained Hollywood immortality when, as villainous Gold Hat in The Treasure of the Sierra Madre (1947), he uttered the often misquoted line: "I don't have to show you any stinking badges!"
