Vintage 8x10-inch black and white publicity portrait by Maurice Seymour, boldly signed and inscribed in black fountain pen in-person for autograph hound and U.S. Army photographer Joe Walsh around 1935, when the star was on the vaudeville circuit doing stand-up comedy, making this the earliest example we have ever encountered! In good condition, with gentle corner wear. Best known as T.V.'s Uncle Milty, on the big screen, funnyman Milton Berle had a few child roles in silents and, later in life, was hilarious as J. Russell Finch in It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World (1963). He was also memorable as villain Louie the Lilac on T.V.'s "Batman" (1966-1968).
