Bold vintage inscribed black fountain pen signature on a 4x6-inch tan autograph album page, acquired in-person by a busy New York City-based autograph hound in in the 1930s. In good condition. Veteran stage, and silent and Golden Age character actor Sidney Blackmer is remembered by horror buffs for his starring roles as Eugene Fulton in The Lady and the Monster (1944) and the scheming warlock Roman Castevet in Rosemary's Baby (1968).  He was elsewhere memorable in Little Caesar (1931), The Count of Monte Cristo (1934), Heidi (1937), Charlie Chan at Monte Carlo (1937), Thank You, Mr. Moto (1937), The Last Gangster (1937), Angels with Broken Wings (1941), The Panther's Claw (1941), Duel in the Sun (1946), High Society (1956), and How to Murder Your Wife (1965).
