Cat. #000527131: EDWINA BOOTH

Highly rare vintage 7.5 x 9.5-inch black and white portrait, looking lovely in flapper attire in her prime, boldly signed and inscribed in red felt-tip pen in the 1970s. In good condition, with the borders pared down for framing purposes and a sticker from the third-party authentication service Beckett on the verso. Gorgeous, doomed Edwina Booth is remembered as the star of the adventure flick Trader Horn (1931), contracting an exotic illness during filming in Africa, which put a total end to her promising movie career. The first signed photograph of her we have ever offered!
