Lovely Dorris Bowdon is best remembered for her portrayal of Rosasharn in The Grapes of Wrath (1940). Also noteworthy in Young Mr. Lincoln (1939), Drums Along the Mohawk (1939), Jennie (1940), and The Moon Is Down (1943), she abandoned acting at the age of 22, to settle down and raise a family.
