Rare vintage 10x8-inch black and white film still from 1933's From Broadway to Hollywood, shown alongside co-stars Frank Morgan and Jackie Cooper, who played the other two members of the Hackett vaudeville troupe in the film, boldly signed in green fountain pen in the 1930s. Beautiful, gifted leading actress Alice Brady was nominated for an Oscar for My Man Godfrey (1936) and would later take home the trophy for In Old Chicago (1938). The following year, right in the middle of her meteoric rise, she succumbed to cancer, aged only 46 years. She had just completed filming for the 1939 classic Young Mr. Lincoln.
