Previously sold by Adam Partridge Auctioneers in the U.K.: Extremely rare vintage 8x10-inch portrait of the iconic, autograph-evading star as Jor-El, father of the titular Man of Steal, in 1978's Superman, boldly signed and inscribed in blue fountain pen in the period of the film. In fine condition, with an original studio snipe affixed to the verso; some minor edgewear and surface crinkling; silvering to the lower right-hand corner; and gentle brushing to the ink at the end of his surname. A RARE authentic and eminently display-worthy example! Enigmatic two-time Oscar-winner Marlon Brando brought gripping realism to classic films like A Streetcar Named Desire (1951), Viva Zapata!
