Bold vintage inscribed signature in black fountain pen on a 4x5-inch tan album page, acquired in-person by Hollywood hairstylist and autograph collector Lily Dirigo in the early 1930s. In good condition, with an inscribed signature of actress Lois Moran in pencil on the verso. Note that the image of the star shown alongside the scan of the autograph here is not included. Beautiful WAMPAS Baby Star and silent movie queen Evelyn Brent was known for exotic, "dangerous" roles, most notably in The Last Command (1928) and two other films directed by Josef Von Sternberg. With the advent of talkies, she was increasingly cast in supporting roles in A-level dramas, and then could only find work in William Beaudine B pictures, prompting her abandonment of Hollywood.
