Very scarce vintage inscribed black fountain pen signature on a 3.5 x 5.25-inch color postcard portrait of herself in the 1960s. In good condition, with two minor flecks of soiling. Note that the image of the star shown here alongside the scan of the signed item is not included. Lillian Bronson was one of the silver screen's great character actresses, memorable as silver-tongued socialites, snarky librarians, no-nonsense teachers, and unpleasant relatives in scores of classic films, including Gaslight (1944), horror's The Invisible Man's Revenge (1944), the Sherlock Holmes flicks The Pearl of Death (1944) and Dressed to Kill (1946), A Tree Grows in Brooklyn (1945), The Brighton Strangler (1945), Junior Miss (1945), In the Good Old Summertime (1949), Father of the Bride (1950), and The Next Voice You Hear... (1950).
