Rare vintage 8x10-inch black and white Universal Studios publicity portrait, boldly signed and inscribed in black fountain pen in the early 1940s. In good condition, with a few minor handling dings. Handsome David Bruce, who died of a heart attack at the age of 60, is remembered by horror buffs for his roles in The Mad Ghoul (1943), in which he delivered a decidedly bone-chilling performance, and Calling Dr. Death (1943).
