Scarce vintage inscribed fountain pen signature on a 4x5-inch tan autograph album page, acquired in-person by inveterate collector Howard Davis at Boston's Colonial Theater in the 1940s. In good condition and suitable for matting. Character actor Alan Carney, who was paired with Wally Brown by R.K.O. Studios in an attempt to rival Abbott and Costello, was memorable in films like Step Lively (1944), Zombies on Broadway (1945), The Pretender (1947), L'il Abner (1959), The Absent-Minded Professor (1961), Son of Flubber (1963), It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World (1963), Monkeys, Go Home! (1967), Blackbeard's Ghost (1968), and Herbie Rides Again (1974).
