Cat. #00081223: HARRY CAREY, SR.

Sorry, this item has already been sold.

Scarce vintage blue fountain pen signature on a 2x6-inch light green autograph album page, acquired in-person in the early 1940s. In fine condition, with very gentle soiling in spots, and a signature of Joan Leslie in ink on the verso. Cowboy star-turned-prolific character actor Harry Carey, Sr., earned an Oscar nomination for his unforgettable performance as the President of the U.S. Senate, who is amused and refreshed by James Stewart's naive, heartfelt antics, in Frank Capra's Mr. Smith Goes to Washington (1939).
