Uncommon borderless 8x10-inch color glossy portrait, boldly signed in blue marker.  Near very fine condition, with a mild ding in the background to the left of her head, entirely invisible when the image is viewed head-on.  A descendant of a long line of royal personages and entertainment figures, including famed director Anthony Asquith, the English leading lady's regal air, patrician beauty and quality of timelessness have served her well in a long line of period and fantasy films.  Dubbed the "corset queen" and "English rose" for her work in films like Lady Jane (1986), Howard's End (1992), the horror remake Frankenstein (1994), and The Wings of  Dove (1997), she has gone on to play scores of dark, neurotic anti-heroines in Fight Club (1999), the Harry Potter film series (2007-2011), and many of longtime boyfriend Tim Burton's films, including Planet of the Apes (2001), Big Fish (2003), Corpse Bride (2005), Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2005), Sweeney Todd (2007), Alice in Wonderland (2010), and Dark Shadows (2012).
