Scarce vintage blue fountain pen signature on a 4x6-inch off-white card, acquired in-person by inveterate autograph hound John Virzi in the 1960s and decorated with a small Players Directory image. In good condition. Hailed as one of the silver screen's greatest beauties, leading lady and songbird Joan Caulfield was memorable in films like Miss Susie Slagle's (1946), Blue Skies (1946), Dear Ruth (1947), The Unsuspected (1947), and The Lady Says No (1951).  In her later years, she popped up in the sci-fi flick The Space-Watch Murders (1975).
