Scarce vintage green ballpoint pen pen signature on a 2 x 3.5-inch off-white card, attained in the early 1960s. In good condition and suitable for matting. Tall, rugged cowboy actor Lane Chandler had a number of roles in horror, sci-fi and fantasy flicks of the 1930s through 1950s, including Flash Gordon (1936), Undersea Kingdom (1936), Flash Gordon's Trip to Mars (1938), Buck Rogers (1939), The Phantom Creeps (1939) with Bela Lugosi, Flash Gordon Conquers the Universe (1940), Green Hornet (1940), Invisible Agent (1942), The Phantom of the Opera (1943), The Lady and the Monster (1944), The Purple Monster Strikes (1945), and Creature with the Atom Brain (1955). He also had a small role as a policeman in It's a Wonderful Life (1946). Little-known-fact: Chandler had been considered for the role of Frankenstein's Monster before Glenn Strange ultimately landed it!
