Uncommon vintage signature in purple marker on a 3x5-inch pale pink autograph album page, acquired in-person in 1974.  In very good condition and ideal for matting.  Following several successes on the Broadway stage, the acerbically witty leading lady was memorable in Born Reckless (1930), The Gay Diplomats (1931), The Animal Kingdom (1932), The Lady Consents (1936), Now, Voyager (1942), The Big Knife (1955), Cinderella (1957), and Ocean's Eleven (1960).  She was also a celebrated author.
