Rare vintage inscribed black fountain pen signature on a 2 x 4.5-inch pale green autograph album page, acquired in-person by a busy New York City-based collector in the 1930s. Affixed to an 8.5 x 11-inch piece of white cardstock, against an orange frame and beneath a computer-printed image of the star, and in good condition, with minor blotting to the first letter of the dedication. The all-too-brief film career of good-looking leading man Thomas Coley included the plum role of Bill Stockton in the horror, sci-fi and fantasy favorite Dr. Cyclops (1940). This is the only the third authentic autograph of the actor we have ever encountered.
