Scarce vintage original 3.25 x 4.5-inch black and white deckle-edged candid snapshot, boldly signed and inscribed in-person for inveterate collector Frances and Violet Zane in the 1940s. In good condition. British character actor Frank Conroy, who was typically cast authority figures-- good and rotten-- might best be remembered as the hate-driven former Confederate Major Tetley who leads the lynch mob in The Ox-Bow Incident (1943).
