Rather scarce vintage ballpoint pen signature on a 4x6-inch white slip, dating to the 1970s. In good condition, with some gentle edge wear. Lovely silent film star Miriam Cooper is best remembered for her work in D.W. Griffith's The Birth of a Nation (1915) and Intolerance (1916), and in husband Raoul Walsh's The Honor System (1917) and Evangeline (1919). She abandoned acting in 1923, only to resurface in the 1960s, when she began touring colleges to lecture about the lost art of silent pictures.
