Exceptionally rare vintage inscribed black fountain pen signature on a 4x6-inch turquoise album page, acquired in-person by inveterate collector Edward Gelman in May of 1970. In good condition, with a few minor creases. Adorable and remarkably prolific child actor Kevin Coughlin's noteworthy credits included The Defiant Ones (1958), "The Phil Silvers Show" (1958), and "The Patty Duke Show" (1964). In his twenties, he played a large number of characters on "Gunsmoke" (1969-1975) and it was not long after his final appearance that he was fatally hit by a speeding car while cleaning his vehicle's windshield, as his horrified wife looked on. He was only 30 years old.
