Cat. #00105122: WENDELL COREY

Scarce vintage 5x7-inch matte-finish sepia-tone portrait, boldly signed and inscribed in black fountain pen in the late 1940s or early 1950s. In good condition. Incisive, sharp-eyed Wendell Corey entered films with a Paramount contract in 1946, alternating between leading roles, and supporting parts as devoted best pals and cold-hearted villains. Highlights of his career included Sorry, Wrong Number (1948), The Search (1948), The File of Thelma Jordan (1950), No Sad Songs for Me (1950), The Wild Blue Yonder (1951), Rear Window (1954), and The Big Knife (1955).
