Quite scarce vintage blue fountain pen signature on a 3x5-inch tan card, acquired in-person at Hollywood's Ship's Cafe in March of 1936. In good condition. Redhead Inez Courtney was the quintessential coquettish soubrette of Broadway musical comedy in the 1920s. Moving to Hollywood in 1930, she played wise-cracking supporting roles in nearly 60 films before retiring from acting a decade later. She is remembered by horror, sci-fi and fantasy buffs for the role of Mary Burns in the Boris Karloff and Bela Lugosi classic The Raven (1935).
