Tough to acquire-- almost everything one encounters on her was signed by her secretaries-- authentic vintage inscribed signature in blue ballpoint pen on a 4x5-inch light green autograph album page, acquired in-person in the early 1950s. In fine condition, priced to reflect a square-shaped block of toning in the upper left-hand corner, left by a magazine image pasted to the preceding leaf in the same book. Luminous leading lady Jeanne Crain, who snagged an Oscar nod for the title role in Pinky (1949), was also memorable in Winged Victory (1944), State Fair (1945), Leave Her to Heaven (1946), A Letter to Three Wives (1949), Cheaper by the Dozen (1950), Gentlemen Marry Brunettes (1955), Meet Me in Saint Louis (1959), and Pontius Pilate (1962). In 1971, she starred in one forgettable horror flick, The Night God Screamed (1971).
