Charming 8x10-inch black and white publicity portrait, boldly signed and inscribed in blue ballpoint pen sometime between 1949 and the early 1950s. In good condition, with minor edgewear. Electrifying Hollywood icon Joan Crawford nabbed an Academy Award for Mildred Pierce (1945), and was nominated twice more, for Possessed (1947) and Sudden Fear (1952). Her wonderful body of work also included Rain (1932), Grand Hotel (1932), The Women (1939), The Gorgeous Hussy (1946), Humoresque (1946), Johnny Guitar (1956), Whatever Happened to Baby Jane? (1962), and the cult horror flick Strait-Jacket (1964).
