Cat. #00112123412: JOAN CRAWFORD

Vintage 8.25 x 7-inch color still portrait with Robert Young for The Bride Wore Red (1937), boldly signed and inscribed in violet fountain pen in-person for noted collector Kay Ingram in the period of the film. In good condition, with tiny pin holes in top and bottom left-hand corners, probably trimmed down from 10x8 inches for framing purposes. Electrifying Hollywood icon Joan Crawford nabbed an Academy Award for Mildred Pierce (1945), and was nominated twice more, for Possessed (1947) and Sudden Fear (1952). Her wonderful body of work also included Rain (1932), Grand Hotel (1932), The Women (1939), The Gorgeous Hussy (1946), Humoresque (1946), Johnny Guitar (1956), Whatever Happened to Baby Jane? (1962), and the cult horror flick Strait-Jacket (1964).
