Scarce black ballpoint pen signature on a 4 x 4.5-inch pale grey bookmark, advertising 1983's The Shape of Rage: The Films of David Cronenberg. In good condition, with a small patch of glue on the flip-side. Dubbed the Baron of Blood, esteemed director David Cronenberg is known for horror, sci-fi and fantasy films exploring technology-induced or genetic mutations of the human body, mind-body dualism, and the contradictions inherent in human nature.  His stellar body of work includes They Came from Within (1975) and Rabid (1977), and went on to outstanding films like Scanners (1981), The Brood (1979), Videodrome (1983), The Dead Zone (1983), The Fly (1986), Dead Ringers (1988), Naked Lunch (1991), Crash (1997), eXistenZ (1999), Spider (2002), and A History of Violence (2005).
