Tough to acquire and uncommonly early 8x10-inch black and white portrait, boldly signed and inscribed in blue fountain pen in the late 1930s. In good condition. Raucous, gangly, rubber-faced comic actress and singer Cass Daley is partly remembered for her especially grisly demise: In 1975, alone in her apartment, she fell and crashed through her glass-top coffee table. A shard of glass jammed into her throat and she bled out before her husband discovered her. She was only 59 at the time.
