Highly scarce vintage black fountain pen signature on a 3x5-inch lined tan card, acquired in-person by a busy Los Angeles-based autograph hound in 1954. In good condition. Note that the image of the star shown alongside the scan of the autograph here is not actually included with the item. The all-too-brief career of gorgeous Barbara Darrow included memorable roles in two B-level horror, sci-fi and fantasy classics:  Jody Simms in The Monster That Challenged the World (1957) and Kaeel in Queen of Outer Space (1958). Her work in other genres included The French Line (1953), Susan Slept Here (1954), The Mountain (1956), and Tall Story (1960). She essentially vanished from the screen after 1960, save for a very small handful of television appearances through the early 1970s.
