Charming 10x8-inch black and white portrait, boldly signed in black marker in the 1980s.  In very good condition.  The child actress-turned-popular leading lady of the silent and early talkie eras gained popularity in Eddie Lyons and Lee Moran comedy shorts, and as Morn Light in the crime serial The Gray Ghost (1917).  She was among the favorite leading ladies of director Tod Browning, for whom she headlined in The Brazen Beauty (1918); Which Woman? (1918); The Exquisite Thief (1919); The Wicked Darling (1919) and Outside the Law (1920) with Lon Chaney, Sr.; The Virgin of Stamboul (1920); Under Two Flags (1922); Drifting (1923); and White Tiger (1923).  Later, she was memorable in the Laurel and Hardy flick Slipping Wives (1927).
