Rare vintage fountain pen signature on a 2x3-inch tan card, dating to her stage career, circa 1919.  In good condition for its age, with some light surface crinkles; a tiny stain to the lower right-hand corner, well away form the writing itself; and mounting remnants on the verso.  Note that the image of the star shown alongside the scan of the autograph here is not actually included with the signed piece. Beautiful theater actress Julia Dean spent her later years playing character roles in films of the 1940s and 1950s, perhaps most notably that of Julia Farren in the horror classic Curse of the Cat People (1944).
