Rare 3.25 x 5.25-inch black and white portrait, boldly signed and inscribed in black fountain pen in the the late 1920s. In good condition for its age. Playwright Hamilton Deane is remembered for the stage play Dracula, based upon Bram Stocker's novel. It served as the basis of Tod Browning's 1931 horror classic, starring Bela Lugosi, who had also appeared in the stage production.
