Highly rare vintage inscribed blue fountain pen signature in a 2.75 x 5-inch lined notebook leaf, acquired in-person in the 1940s. In good condition. Character and cartoon voice actor Kenny Delmar began his career in silent movies, making his debut as a younger Joseph Schildkraut in D.W. Griffith's Orphans of the Storm (1921) at age 11. While appearing on Fred Allen's radio program in the 1930s, he created southern windbag Senator Beauregard Claghorn, which was recycled for the character of of Foghorn Leghorn in Looney Toons cartoons in later years. He also lent his voice to Saturday morning cartoons throughout the 1960s, most notably numerous parts on "Underdog" (1966-1967) and "Go Go Gophers" (1966-1967), and the narrator on "The Beagles" (1966-1967).
