Exceedingly rare clipped black fountain pen signature from the close of a note on white stationery sent to yours truly in 2000, measuring 2x5 inches. I had written to him, explaining that I had never been able to find his autograph anywhere, in any format, and he kindly signed some things for me. Some irregular trimming and light creasing, but in fair condition, overall. Still, priced accordingly. Note that the image of the star shown here alongside the scan of the autograph is not included. Frenetic character actor Rudy De Luca, who is now a remarkable 118 years of age, played Lieutenant Madden in the cult horror flick The Return of Count Yorga (1971), and then went on to appear in a long string of comedy classics directed or produced by Mel Brooks: He was the wacky executive in Silent Movie (1976), the deranged killer in High Anxiety (1977), Pat Manarino in Fatso (1980), a caveman and Captain Mucus in History of the World: Part I (1981), Lawrence Malbot in Transylvania 6-5000 (1985), Vinnie the gangster who partakes of Pizza the Hut's cheese-covered face in Spaceballs (1987), J. Paul Getty in Life Stinks (1991), a reveler in Robin Hood: Men in Tights (1993), Malicious Mel in The Silence of the Hams (1994), and a guard in Dracula: Dead and Loving It (1995).
