Scarce original 1934 Paramount Pictures black and white publicity portrait, boldly signed and inscribed for Famous Monsters of Filmland obituary columnist and cinema history author Harris Lentz, III in red fountain pen, probably in the early 1980s. Some light creases and edge wear; otherwise, in good condition for its age. Pretty Katherine DeMille's memorable credits include Madam Satan (1930), Viva Villa! (1934), The Call of the Wild (1935), Romeo and Juliet (1936), Ramona (1936), Drift Fence (1936), Charlie Chan at the Olympics (1937), Under Suspicion (1937), Isle of Destiny (1940), Ellery Queen, Master Detective (1940), and Back Streets of Cairo (1940).  She essentially vanished from the screen at the age of 26 and signed photos are quite elusive.
