Scarce vintage 8x10-inch black and white publicity portrait, boldly signed in black fine-tip pen in the 1980s. In good condition, overall, with some minor creasing to the center, visible only when the photo is angled toward a light source, but priced accordingly. Beloved singer, songwriter, guitarist, activist, and occasional film and T.V. actor John Denver was tragically killed in an airplane crash at the age of 53. He left behind an enormous body of work, which included songs that have long become popular standards, including "Take Me Home Country Roads," "Annie's Song," "Thank God I'm a Country Boy," "Rocky Mountain High," "Leaving on a Jet Plane," "Sunshine on My Shoulders," and "Rhymes and Reasons."
