Exceptionally rare vintage blue ballpoint pen signature on a 3x5-inch tan card, acquired in-person by an inveterate autograph on May of 1963. In good condition and ideal for matting with a favorite photograph. Making an award-winning Broadway debut in The Member of the Weddingat age seven, gifted Brandon de Wilde went on to star in the 1952 film version of the play, and the following year won an Oscar nomination for his performance in Shane (1953). He successfully transitioned into juvenile roles, winning acclaim a decade later for his performances in All Fall Down (1962) and Hud (1963), finding work as well onstage and in television. He died in a motor accident in 1972 at the age of 30 and autographed material in virtually any format is quite elusive.
