Nifty, absolutely authentic vintage 8x10-inch black and white glossy portrait of the Yankee Clipper autographing a baseball for a fan, boldly signed in blue marker in 1983. In good condition, with a minor half-inch tear to the right edge and the faintest crease to the right edge, both of which could easily be framed or matted out to allow for a rather handsome display. Baseball Hall of Famer and three-time MVP Joltin' Joe DiMaggio was an All-Star for each of his 13 seasons with the New York Yankees. He will forever be remembered for his 56-game hitting streak in 1941, a major league record which still stands. He also had a 61-game hitting streak with the San Francisco Seals of the Pacific Coast League in 1933. DiMaggio famously married Marilyn Monroe in 1964.
