Cat. #0012443310: RICHARD DIX

Scarce vintage 3.25 x 5.5-inch color postcard portrait, boldly signed and inscribed in black fountain pen in May of 1931, while onscreen in Cimarron. In good condition for its age. Rugged silent and early talkie leading man Richard Dix was nominated for an Academy Award for Cimarron (1931). He died of a heart attack at the age of 56, having used secretaries to sign for fans through the mail, and his autograph is difficult to acquire in any format.
