Cat. #001244422: RICHARD DIX

Sorry, this item has already been sold.

Not so common vintage signature in bold pencil on a 4x6-inch tan autograph album page, acquired in-person in the 1930s, during the period he was so heavily using secretaries to sign for him.  In good condition, with one ding to the lower right, well away from the writing.  Oscar-nominated for Cimarron (1931), silent and early talkie leading man Richard Dix was elsewhere memorable in The Ten Commandments (1923), The Gay Defender (1927), Seven Keys to Baldpate (1929), The Lost Squadron (1932), The Arizonian (1935), The Ghost Ship (1943), The Kansan (1943), and Mysterious Intruder (1946).
